About us
Afropopcity was created as a response to the lack of nightlife spaces for Afrobeat and HipHop lovers. We are a Limerick based music event planning and promotion organisation and we believe in creating a space for everyone. Founded in 2018 by Anthony Onaloye aka DJ Southside & Co-Founder Mamobo Ogoro, our mission is to create a community for afrobeat, hip-hop and rap lovers across Ireland.
Our vision is to be Ireland's largest Afrobeat event planners and promoters. We organise, promote and showcase the latest Afrobeat Music, Hip-hop Music and Afro-Irish Music and artists in our monthly events that cater to our diverse community.
